Default Asthma anyone?

Anyone here have asthma? I been feelin really tired and short of breath and some tightening in the chest this past week. I have a slight case of asthma, and its never acted up. I Dont know if its the asthma that causes my triedness after a short walk since i also have heart conditions. So i went to get checked out in Ventura casue thats the closest kaiser people to SB. Well after a long drive they said i have an irregular EKG which i knew that, but that maybe my short of breath and chest tightning is casued by the cold air that is making the asthma act up. I never felt like this so i hope it is that and not anything to do with my heart problems and my MD. ANyone else have asthma that acts up when its cold??

my son has asthma carlos. He had it bad as a toddler, he's grown out of it alot but it does act up when he gets a cold. He starts wheezing, coughing alot(uncontrollably) and has shortness of breath. Stay on top of it mang, maybe have them do an allergy test on you to see if they can pinpoint what's causing the reaction.

Yea, i hope its the asthma. BUt i dont have a cold, the doc said it might be becasue of the cold weather, cold air i guess? but i've never heard of that. I hate the feeling though, it sucks just walkin from my car to class and being tired and short of breath!

I have excersie and allergy induced asthma. It gets bad in any kinds of drastic weather. Cold, muggy, rainy, humid. You name it. YOu should maybe get some kinda inhaler. I had it REALLY bad when i was young. I mean foreal i would faint when i was and stuff. Then i got an inhaler and it fixes it whenever i feel anything bad coming on. I played volleyball all throughout junior high and high school and the inhaler was the best! Yano?

Yea thats the type of asthma i have. When i got checked out the 1st time earlier this year they said it was mild and only should use the inhaler if i'm gonna do some exercise. But when i went to the doc today she said she might give me another type of inhaler so we'll see if it works. I guess the weather does affect it.
