Default For the cold winter peeps

what do you guys do to get rid of the humidity in the car? I mean when it is really cold ice form in the inside of my car I hate it! this morning it was like
-13 with wind chill and the ice was inside of the car. What to do?

turn on the a/c and crank your heat all the way up, the compressor dehumidifies the heat. leave it on too long and your eyes will definitely start drying out.

Thanks! i was wondering if putting an open pot of silica gel would help as well. Anyone tried? Cause is just a bitch to wait in the car till the window defrosts...

do you have yours set to recycle the air? that may be a big part of your problem.

hmm.. my understanding is that a/c compressors are designed to not "start" below a certain temperature. am i wrong?

as far as i know they turn on if you turn it on, and it will pull the moisture out of the air.


my a/c compressor doesn't work fogged windows is a HUGE problem for me...
