Default Thats sad

I restarted my desktop and laptop at the same time. My laptop is still restarting, its a P3 600MHz with 128MB RAM and my desktop a Athlon 1.8GHz with 1GB of RAM. h: My laptop like my car has aspirations of being fast, but that ain't happening.

Factory spec it was a Win 2k system, I dumped XP on it because I hate 98. Once I get my other desktop back up and running I'll put Debian on this laptop and Redhat on the other laptop since both will be for work.

XP will typically boot a lot faster than 2000 Professional. You should think about defragmenting your hard disk.

Its a fresh install of XP, I don't know how fast it booted with 2000 because I swapped the drive out for a new one. I am not too concerned with the speed since its my work pc. I'd be tempted to goof off with it if it was faster.
