ok so i got a speeding ticket on friday on the Garden State Parkway. got pulled over by state trooper for doing 91 in a 55. was in a rush to go see my boss i was late as it is. anyway he came back to my car i asked if that was a ticket he tells me its a $90 or so summons. i look on the back of the ticket obviously it says if i was going 35 mph over the speed limit i pay a hell of alot more. but they said my ticket isn't even in the system yet or anything. the one thing i'm trying to figure out he wrote something under "Other Traffic/Parking Offense". he wrote C-198/U-3321 and the statue no. is 19:8-1.2 i looked on the website on the back of the ticket i couldn't find anything on what this meant i'm not familiar with NJ laws can anyone help me?

 

you're lucky because had you done that in PA, he wouldve taken your license right there and given you one hell of a ticket...then put 6 points on your license when you got them back

He gave you a ticket for speeding- 36 over posted limit to be precise. You would need to pay and you'll have points on your license-- along with a nice insurance rate increase.

 

sounds to me like he wrote you up for something other then speeding. and has yet to put the ticket into the system

 

I would justpay it now . He didnt write you a speeding ticket. Thats why the price is lower. I was caught in delaware doing 80 in a 45 area and the cop put that i was doing 55 in a 45 so i paid a 50 dolla speeding ticket and got no points. I did it that same day so there were no Oops i made a mistake here's the real ticket type thing

I'm not gonna add that i didnt have my license, nor proof of registration, nor an up to date insurance card. And i was driving a brand new car. Aint nothing like seeing a young black male speeding down the road in a new car with no proof of identification on him.

Best believe i dont speed around rest stops anymore

 

Do you have a radar detector? I know when I was pulled over on the GSP he wrote me up for it. In certain municpalities radar detectors are illegal, which I thought was stupid.
