I would not rank the MX above the t1-s in traction either.
Really? Tire Rack testing (yeah yeah I know) puts MX like a tick below BFG KD in the dry, and most of the responses on miata.net seem to put them a half-tick below the Azenis but definitely above the T1-S.

But maybe it's different on a 330i. :dunno:

I'd say first call, Kuhmo MX. I loved those things.
Second choice, ES100's.
Third choice, Kuhmo's.

From yet more extrapolation of various tests and secondhand opinions, I would place them as pretty similar to Yoko ES100 but they cost more and get real noisy as they wear.

i'm going to guess that it wasn't he s02s fault they spun out

i've seen people spin out with r compounds, it's not the r compounds fault now is it

Yeah, you're right. Maybe they were blaming it on the s02s... but a lot of guys on s2ki were talking about s02s have problems. S2 + rain + amateur drive = uh oh!

so s03s just an upgraded version of s02s?

Best handling car with glue for tires + amateur driver + rain = uh oh.

Poor drivers suck.
