anyone else's computer restart while using mIRC?
 

ever since i formatted a while back, whenever im on mIRC downloading.. my whole computer just randomly restarts.. :mad:

i mean i had like 10 files going, and BAM.. shut down. :rolleyes: now i have to try and find them again :(

any suggestions?

I don't use MIRC but I have been getting a Kernel error which is making my physical memory dump and forcing a reboot.

Pretty annoying and virus scan comes up with nothing.

HA.. thats what happened today, it said physical memory dump after it restarted, and like froze on that screen..

cna anything be done? what do you use?

nope. works fine.

Dunno I am still stuck on it and find that it varies when its going to happen.

So far I have been up for 6 hours with no dump after turning the machine off for abut 8 hours last night, but it is still showing signs of problems.

I think I am just going to reformat since I am a bit overdue for one anyways.

eh.. just formatted like a month ago, dont feel like going through it again.. yet
