New question for Texas Hold'em:

Flop, Turn, and River cards form a straight: 2, 3, 4, 5, 6

My cards are 4 and 5
Opponents cards are pair of 3s

Who wins? Or do we split the pot?

In hold'em you aren't required to use your two hole cards.

You only get to use a total of five cards. If you use the five community cards, then your hole cards don't mean anything.

In this case, your hole cards were on the table anyway so you have a straight no matter what.

Your opponent could use his pocket threes to make three of a kind but that would be stupid since a straight beats three of a kind, so he has a straight too.

Split the pot.
