drugs = good music
pretty much all of my favorite musicians are into drugs/were into drugs at one point. I find it hard to believe thats just a coincidence. Name a genre I listen to (I listen to most), and I'll name three good artists with a drug problem... or should I say solution.

Pssh... Jimmy Hendrix... Janis Joplin..
They were clean! So "N'yeh"! :p |
You're implying that the only music that is good is music that you listen to. Do you like jazz?

Rage Against The Machine
Beastie Boys The Roots The list could go on forever. |

i sure as hell do. hard bop actually has a higher rate of drugies than rock, IMO. lets see: Larry Corryell, thelonius monk, miles davis, jymie merritt, cliff brown, max roach, horace silver.... are you kidding me? |

It sounds like you're trying to say that drug use causes good music. I disagree. Maybe you're trying to justify your own drug use or abuse.
I don't dispute that lots of great musicians used and abused drugs, but that doesn't mean that drug abuse is good for you. |
