as reading the website, it doesnt really give good information about sikhism.
so ill give you a quik rundown.
sikhism started in the late 1400's.
we have ten messengers from god.
We belive in the same god, in which god is one, god is everywhere, etc . .
Sikhs dont have a cast system, we are all equal
sikhs belive in the equalness between men and women, everybody should be treated equally
Sikhs are known to be called, in a translated, defined version, Saint Soliders.
SIkhs keep their hair, theres alot of mythology behind it, but a more common definable reason is that, sikhs were the wise, and the strongh. Wise people kepted hair. so do we. We also belive that hair is a gift from god.
Often/sometimes you might see some sikhs that wear turbans. We wear turbans because it is to keep our hair clean, for that the reason of hair is a gift from god. It is their to protect it. we are not supposed to cut it for that reason.
