Default *mental note* do not remove plexiglass cover when computer is running

oops...hehe

so i opened up the computer and moved the plexiglass cover that directs the airflow....and set off one of the temperature zones on my dual 1.8 G5. this red LED shined right in my face and the backup fan just screamed. h:

i thought a bomb went off in my face...

so uh...yeah...dont open your G5 dual when it is like 90 degrees in your room and your computer is on.

It does that because it notices a lack of airflow over the components inside, by removing the Plexi-Glass cover the air that *was* flowing escaped through the side, so it increased the RPM of the seven fans (from near silent, to deafeningly loud) to increase the airflow.

We love our macs =].
