The Tracker has once again proven itself...
Yesterday we went to the land down yonder and took the '77 F150 for a little gander. Well, we went through a lot of mud and it didn't like it much.
We got stuck
It was not fun. Well actually it was fun. We went back to the road, got out the tow straps, and got the little tracker to the ford. Heh. Heheheheh. Hehheheheheheheheheh. Some guy in a Wrangler stopped to watch us since we must have looked like idiots pulling out a 5,000 truck with a little girly SUV but hey.
So I put the little bugger in 4 low and my friend got in the ford and we were out of there in no time. Then the guy in the Jeep asked if he could go through it since of course, he had a Jeep and it does it on the commercials all the time. Well, again, trucklette to the rescue. And just to get him pissed off, we went through all the mud with the tracker and well, he left. It must have been too much for him.
So that's my story.

Tracker has the weight advantage
Actually I have been seeing a lot of Trackers on the trails lately. They are cheap as hell and basically the same platform as the Samurai. Drop some Toyota axles under them and lockers set in a second transfer case, mild lift and some 33s and you are golden to go most places.
