Default I, Robot vs. Bourne Supremacy

I've seen both. I first saw Bourne Supremacy and my gripes are that 1. Marie is around for less than 20 mins in the movie and her death seems really trivial as a result. 2. The camerman has a seizure everytime action happens. I.E. It looks like an amateur shot the fight/action sequences ala Shakey-Cam. 3. It felt more like a bunch of randomly strung together events- there was no details leading up to a scene i.e. Bourne shows up at place to place w/o any time spent on what happens in-transit.

On the other hand, I, Robot, was a kickass movie with (dare I say it) more Action than BS, better humor and of course a better story in the end. Seeing I, Robot and Bourne Supremacy made me realize just how good the former was and how bad the latter was. Yet from what I've heard BS got better reveiws than IR. Can anyone explain why? Maybe my information is wrong? Discuss..

I think I, Robot was a better comedy than action movie. And for the advertisement plugs.. whogivesafawk. I liked it, but the story was predictable. Funniest part that made me keep laughing.

"Aaaaachooooo!!! ....uhh....sorry, I'm allergic to bullshit" :lmao:

I agree w/ number 1 and 2 for BS, but #3 doesn't make much sense. If you pay attention to the movie the events arent' random at all. Small details clue you in into what he does and why.

And personally I like I,Robot better. I thought it had a good mix of humor, sci fi, and action. Many people complained about I,Robot's blatant use of advertising (Audi, FedEx, converse, Dos Equis, Etc) but I just tuned it out in favor of paying attention to the story rather than getting hung up on the details.

And as for why BS got a better rating...well, thats all based on why critics feel the way they do. That varies from person to person.

Definitely something I liked too was the better script. I thought the humor is BS was pretty dull, beyond the "oh no he's right next to me" gag there wasn't much comedic relief. Beyond the taxi chase scene I don't think there was much to like in the way of action personally.. again, I can't stand shakey-cam sequences. (The taxi scene was shakey-cam free)

I wasn't aware anyone was griping bout the ads in IR... I noticed em but I don't think it really screws w/ the movie. Some people...

It would be better if Will's Audi's right headlight's burnt and the window doesn't seem to come back up after he rolled it down.
