Golf Course Rentals?

Do golf courses usually have rental clubs to use? I'm not really sure, but I have a set to use, but my buddy is looking to buy some today to go golfing, but I mentioned that they may have rentals. I know driving ranges have rental drivers, but what about courses?

That all depends on the course. Some do, some don't.

I figured, but I didn't know if it was more likely for golf courses to do this or not.
