wireless phone jack system

Default wireless phone jack system

anybody have experience with these things. i have a long ass cord running into my room b/c i dont have a phone jack. i was thinkin about pickin up one of these bad boys. will it mess up my dsl?

should mess the dsl up as long as you put a filter on it.

i've heard people have problems with them, but never used one myself.

probably.. anytime you have a transmitter you have amplification. whenever you have amplification you have an increase in noise, as well as signal strength. more noise=worse signal quality

hahahaha..i had the exact same one...dude it sucks. a ton of interference on the line. i never tried it for an internet connection though

The noise interferance usually comes from dimmer switches. They reek havoc on wireless systems including wireless phones and intercoms (both of which I have in a room with a dimmer switch).

Which is why I'm changing my swtiches to regular on/off switches.

just get a cordless phone with a second handset. the second handset doesn't need a phone line, only a power outlet. leave the main base/handset in the room with the jack and place the other whereever you like.

i wanted a dsl connection, not phone line. i never answer the phone cause i have a cell phone.
