DAMMIT! UCSB Called, I'm short 1 unit
 

Well i got an e-mail today from the school, its my 1st choice and they were supose to finish all their application review by may 1st. but they didnt. So i get an e-mail askin for my midterm grades. I tell her i'm getting A's in all, she asked for the last which was a Computer information system class that i dropped becasue i "thought" i didnt need it, and i "thought" (after counting with coucelor) that i had enough units to transfer (60 units) Well since i dropped that class and took a proficiencty test for an equvilent to get my AA degree, i am 1 unit short. I have 59 semeter units, or 88.5 quater units. So i'm ****in pissed!! She did say after callin her on the phone that i have a good GPA, 3.2, and that i should try and take something over the summer and let her know, they dont usually allow summer classes but they might make an exception. So now i have to find the easyest summer course. **** ths sucks major ass! :wtc:

I'm not a big fan of councelors. I hate the fact that they can pretty much say anything, but it wont hold up to administration if you do what they tell you and it doesn't work when they say it would. I've seen a councellor twice in two years of being at OSU and both times I wasn't too thrilled about it.

Naw my councelor has been alot of help, i really dont know what happen, maybe we both forgot that i needed that class, i think it was just my bad and we did count that class as transferable then i forgot and tought i didnt need it for my major, which i dont, and dropped it. :(
