I bought another fish today. It's a red female betta. I now have three female bettas, five tetras, one snail, and one chinese alge eater. The tetras and alge eater are in a ten gallon tank, two of the female bettas are in a divided 5.5 gallon tank, and one betta and the snail are in a one gallon tank. I have to move in less than a month. I think I'm screwed...

What kind of fish do you guys have?
What kind of tanks and setups do you have?

 

4 cories (2 pepper, 2 albino), 5 zebra danios + snail infestation. i havent vacc'd in 3 months .
10 gallon tank with a biowheel mini filter and an aquatec filter. i wanna get rid of it. i want my tv again. ;;

My girl got me into fish this past January, now I love them. It's an awesome hobby for a college student living in an apartment where regular pets are not allowed. Someday we plan to get a huge tank that will make up part of a wall in our house.
When I was younger, I couldn't keep fish alive longer than five days. It's very interesting because there can be so much involved with them. I do all my own water sampling, cleaning, etc. Some day I want to try and breed a couple of bettas. They are a very fascinating fish. When I walk into my room, they come alive and swim all over the place and seem to try to get my attention almost like little puppies. When someone other than my girlfriend sits next to her male betta, the male will flare at that person. When my girlfriend sits back down, he goes back to normal. I think it’s funny.
