the problem was i lost too much weight...i was lifting also, but emphasis was on weight loss. ended up looking unhealthy and frail. so that's why i've been trying to gain muscle for the past 2 years or so. i was getting cut and stronger, but i've only been gaining healthy mass recently.
it's incredibly expensive to eat healthy
plus it takes so much time to cook and prepare shit. i suck in the kitchen, and chicken breast with BBQ sauce gets old :exnbp: the 5lb protein jugs cost $30, and last about a month. not cheap, but avoiding restaurants every weekend kinda evens it out. have you considered getting protein through egg whites or tuna? i did that for a while also

I'm 6' , 165...trying to hit 175-180 by mid summer. Considering at the beginning of my this school year (junior year h/s) i was weighin in at a woppin 143, i think 175 is reasonable goal.
Creatine doesn't work for everybody, i tried it, it didn't do anything except make me want to throw up every time i drank it. The key to gaining weight is having a routine and sticking to it, and having high calorie intake. Whey protien works like a charm as well.
Oh and as for bench...my one rep max went up 100 lbs in 6 months, from 95 to 195. hoping to break 200 in the next month, but its gonna be hard because i'm in season for school ball.
I've always been good at running, i'm at a 5:07 mile, but i play soccer year round.

Much cheaper than GNC even with discounts. Just a heads up in case anyone's interested.
My own goals: I want to improve my concentration and the intensity of my workouts. I also want to gain at least 10lbs by the end of June and increase (repped) db bench 50lbs -> 70lbs, squat from 135lbs -> 200lbs, and incorporate deads period. I'm pretty weak right now but I'm just starting out.
