What do you mean? It's extremely contagious and everyone knows it. Are talking more about its mode of transmission?
I remember a CDC statement that it could only be spread through infected fluids at a point of entry. I think it was the reporter in the article compared it to AIDS. The problem I have with that is 2 nurses in one of the most medically advanced countries in the world who know how to deal with AIDS and knew the patient had ebola, still got infected. So it is obviously much easier to transmit than AIDS. Then their solution for screening passengers from infected countries is to take their temperature? Fucking Really? I'm sure just about everyone knows that won't do anything. I'm not expecting the CDC to freak out and quarantine the whole country but the response doesn't seem to be taking the risk seriously. I doubt we will see more than a few isolated cases in the US this time. But there is potential for an outbreak if it finds it's way into a less hygienic neighborhood.
There were also some reports that it may have become airborne but they were unsubstantiated. I wish I knew where the article was because it actually had some really good info in it.
