It's getting to be almost that time again...
Spring Break is next week for me and I'm just going home instead of somewhere exotic. Well, Maryland weather is sort of exotic this time of year compared to Wisconsin.
Anyway, being at home means test driving cars. In the course of my various recent-ish trips home I have test driven the following cars: Acura TSX Honda Civic Si Honda S2000 ('03) Mazda 3s 4-door Mazda RX-7 ('94) Mazda RX-8 Nissan 350Z Touring Nissan 350Z Track So...any ideas what else I should check out? I tried to drive an Evo during winter break but they wanted me to like buy the damn thing before I drove it, but maybe a different Mitsu dealer will give me better luck. I'll also probably try and check out an E36 M3 at some used dealer. Any other suggestions? |
New TL looks good. :)

The RX-8 for example, I got to drive it for like an hour on twisties, back roads, city streets, highway, etc. |
whats the point of all this bullshit test driving? end result, you still go home empty handed with no car keys.
id rather own one single nice ride instead of not own anything and say "i got to drive a porsche" |
i think it's hard to get a good feel of the complete package in a test drive. i drove a ton of different cars when i worked in a repair shop, including some nice ones (E39 M5, NSX, 964). i never really dropped the hammer or had enough seat time to fully evaluate the car. but eh, whatever floats your boat.
