anyone own or use big work lights...
like these:
http://www.sears.com/sr/javasr/produ...id=03473925000 - those are only 20 bucks... do they light up a lot of area? i figure 2 lights that are 1000watts should do a decent job. plan on using them for some work, mostly just basketball at night and parties out in the back yard during the summer

 Good for detailing too.
We brought them to the abandoned house and used the generator. 1 light lit up about 2 rooms. These were only 1 lamp heads, not 2.
They get hot though. I have a burn on my arm from them.

Yea get em, I have just a single light that sits on the ground, but just clamp it to a pole or something and move it around.
They put out a lot of light, but also a lot of heat. I always try to use mine where it will get a bit of air flow and it's cramped up.
