My best friend... well now categorically placed into one time best friend seems to have a serious issue with imports. He goes around bashing them in his Vette forums and everytime I see him he goes "Your car is nice." Everytime his beloved Vette broke down I was his ride, hmm time to light a match under his ass. Off to his Vette forums and off to make posts about the condition of his car.
Yes paybacks are a bitch... I also don't like friends saying shit behind my back.
so what happened to the vette to make it break down? im curious
Shifting into first gear when doing 40 doesn't help a transmission. Also doing it ever since you got the car doesn't help either. Not maintaining a car also takes its toll on the internals.
Ya know I really shouldn't care... he's eventually gonna get raped up the ass. Right now he killed both his headlights and is driving around town with his foglights at night.
so these breakdowns were caused by him and not the car
his vette may be just as reliable as our honduhs :eek3:
Most... some were service recalls. It goes back to the old saying: "If you've had things handed to you all your life you really don't appreciate your property much." He already killed his 96 Cavy which he got brand new thanks to his mom after he got his license. Never changed the oil, never checked fluids and well it pretty much gave up on him with less than 50k miles.
This the same guy with the dirty vette that you were comparing to?
Yep... ya know I realized that everyone labels import owners because they think all import owners bash domestics, shit I've been browsing a few domestic boards and they aren't any better. Oh well thats why I like HAN, it promotes civilized discussions.
Now if only I can perfect the late braking maneuver in Pro Race Driver with the Lola. I gotta start figuring out the braking points. h:
