Prelude SR's fast?

Some dude from school in a Prelude SR had a little road rage today and was zipping around campus and out pretty fast. Buddy of mine met him at a light and took him by many car lengths.

Are SR's decently fast? I know they have no VTEC and it's a 2.3. The dude had an exhaust and it sounded strong and pretty good so I think he had headers too. He also chirped on 1st and 2nd.

everything seems fast when you aren't moving.

What the hell is a Prelude SR? I thought the H23 was a Japan only motor.

he's in Canada, where honda uses different trim names. like our SI is their SIR and our EX is their SI

lude Si's use an h23 engine rated at 160fwhp

I assume you're talking about the 4th gen. The SR is the same thing as the Si in the USA. It has a 160 hp non-VTEC H23. There is an SR 4WS just like the US Si 4WS and there's also an SR-V which is the same as the US VTEC.
