My roomate got a $50 gift certificate to Amazon.com for Christmas, but he has no idea what to buy. (He also got like three gift certificates to Barnes&Noble, so he's got enough books,)

Does Amazon have any really weird stuff that I should tell him to get? He didn't like my first response, which was to put a down-payment on a Segway.

 

They have all kinda stuff.

Tell him to open a browser and actually look!

THey have tons... they started out with just books, they have cd's, dvd's, electronics, office stuff, home entertainment stuff, i've seen them have baby clothes too. Ya really have to check.

I'd never buy from amazon.com cause the are a MS and change the prices on the fly.

 

I know that they have all kinds of stuff. I meant strange/weird stuff I could tell him to get, like the male chastity belts they have on ebay. I'm trying to find something funny to mess with him.

What's the status on your new TV?

I got the TV. it's a 34" Phillips HDTV Widescreen flatscreen.

Right now it's chillin on my living room floor till we get our extra room finished (painted and recarpeted and setup as a home office/storage) and then I'll get a good table/bench or something good and sturdy for it to sit on... then when I get some extra cash I plan on gettign a better dvd player and a surround sound system. :thumbup:
