Default I've got an interview. . . . . .

. . . . . .on January 15th with the school district my fiance works for. Basically being a computer tech for the district. I hope i get it because it's 5 minutes away from the house and that will save on gas for the BEAST GAS GUZZLING MACHINE. It will also be nice beceause I can get out of this god foresaken company that wants to lay everyone off to make a profit. :fawk:
I can't wait to put in my 2 weeks and get my 3 weeks of vacation payed for in full as well as my overtime for January, i've already worked 20 hours of OT so far.

yeah that sounds like it would be awesome. Would you get the work schedule that the teachers do as well? If so you will be off a lot. Teachers schedules rock

That is a sweet deal. A friend of mine does the same. He makes as much as I do, and then gets a part time job during the summer. So he's collecting 2 checks for 3 months, always having a holiday off, and has full benifits. He pays not a dime for medical insurance. Such a slack job, compared to corporate BS.

Yeah, It's a full time thing but there are 17 paid holidays (unlike here where it's 24x7 365 a year). I don't get summers off, but I get the breaks the teachers get, spring break, christmas break etc. I'm excited and it will make things alot easier. They pay for health and dental insurance and they also set up a retirement fund for you. You can add to it if you wish, but don't have to. it's a great deal. And, i've maxed out my 401k payments through my job now and they match $.50 per dollar:naughty:
