i called a good friend of mine on new years, and i got some upsetting news. he's leaving in two weeks to go to iraq. he's in the marines, and i worry about him a lot because he's kind of a timid guy. he'll be there for 8 months. i hope he'll be ok. :sad:

he should have, the way I figure is if my 100 pound wife can be over there this long than any man had better be able to do it. Hope he comes home safe though civc_love.

Well you can look at it this way.... when someone comes back from a war, they are either dead, chickened out, or they come back a better person. Stronger. Smarter. Tougher.

not true look at vietnam vets they have some serious mental issues. I am in the army and if you come back from Iraq they make you go through a basic mental eval.

Yea, that would fall under "chicken" :chuckles:
