I saw a nice yellow one at a local dealer last week. Already sold.

You've been saving, and wanting the 7 forever, dood. Go for the dream!

idk why everyone raves about the interior of the rx-8 honestly. My dad and i test drove it, and yea its cool, but everything in there is honestly function over form, the material on the seats felt plasticy, the e-brake felt flimsy, and not everything was designed well with things in odd places. i thought the same about the outisde too, if you look in the altezzas there are weirdly shaped bars going across, same with the headlights. Yea its a fun car to drive, but IMHO rx-7>>>>>>>>>>>>>rx-8

I like my interior just fine, thanks. The RX-8 interior is kinda flashy for me. That, and I don't like the body shape, and it's kinda tall. I'm not feeling the four doors or rear seats, either.

My RX-7 owns me, and as a result of that, I'm stuck reworking the brake system tomorrow.h:

I was told that Mazda was offering $3000 back for buying an 8 because it rated so low in the area of performance. People were actually buying them, getting the cash and then selling them to people that didn't know about the rebate.

It was running around a couple of the car groups I hang out with. Could be BS though.. :dunno:

You had to preorder the car or otherwise buy it before they revised the horsepower numbers to get in on the buyback or free service deal. They are advertising them with the right numbers now.
