It's been a long road ...
But I finally made it. I got the call at noon today, and have officially been accepted into medical school. Four years of shit finally paid off! I also graduate tomorrow, so I'm very much looking forward to enjoying the next 6 months before I hate my life for another 4 years.
Hope everybody is enjoying their holiday season so far.

Thanks man. Yeah ... that's a long ways off. I'll worry about passing pharmacology first.
You finished PA school, right? Are you in the work force now?
Restrictions apply.
I'll probably end up being a boring family practice doctor in a rural place. What I will say though, is it's the most satisfying thing I've ever experienced. I've basically dedicated the last four years of my life just to have a chance of being accepted to medical school. I can't imagine doing anything else. I feel so lucky to be able to get to do what I love for the rest of my life, even if Obama steals all my jerbs and money.
But now I'm looking down the barrel of $300,000 of debt. Shit's scary.

Thanks for the kind words my friend. Time to get all sentimental, but I've been on han since I was a shitty 16 year old high school student. Now I'm a shitty 23 year old medical student. It's been cool getting glimpses into everyone's life over the years. I'm glad this place has resisted circling the drain so far.

Yup, I've been working since September. Just got my CDS# and DEA# last month so I can write for everything but methadone and suboxone. I had a month of extra training after I graduated and then my employer just threw me into it. I am the only provider in the office 4 out of 5 days a week
