It's essentially the same as the old paper apps, but what wound up happening was that the website logged my name and details, then choked after the first page of my COM transcript info.
Fortunately, I got things on track with the SDSU board of admissions on Tuesday morning, so I basically have to wait until Fall grades are in, then send them a letter stating my major, an official transcript and copy of my registration for my spring IGETC-certified classes.
Since fall grades aren't logged until Jan 10th, the Journalism Major may be filled up by then ( they have to cap the number of accepted transfers some years; it's a popular campus, or so I've heard
)..So we'll see.
But anyway, congrats on getting in!!

dave,
Uhh damn that sucks, i had that problem sorta when i was finishing my UC application this sunday, deadline was monday. I kept gettin stuck and error messages probably from all the people doing it last minute like me. But yea the TAA is similar to that i guess, you just take the cources required for the school, and then sign a paper saying you'll keep the GPA and then you get in.

Eh, it could be a LOT worse. SDSU already limits the number of applications by a fair bit; if you don't have 56 transferable units or haven't completed the standards for the transfer curriculum, they won't even let you submit an application. Only HS seniors and Junior - year transfers are considered.
Then for the Journalism program, there are 2 Political Science classes (one down, one to go..) that clear you for entry into the Journalism program.
I'm not too worried. If I hafta wait a year, I'll contribute articles to some local papers..
