I want to take a buch of video clips, put them together, edit them, and add the occasional stuff here and there, but i have no clue what to use. Does anyone know of a good video editor?

Windows movie maker works great and is easy to use.

Adobe Premiere is a great program but takes a bit to get used to.

Vegas is as powerful as Premiere and has a steep learning curve much like Premiere but color settings are much more versatile.

Adobe Premier
Ulead Media Studio 7.0

both work fine, though I like ulead better = user friendly, adobe is quite hard for beginners

I tried Ulead once but didn't like it much because of the limited function it had...but I have seen good results from it. I especially didn't like that they took more time on the candy interface than any actual power put into the program.....ehh I give it a 4 out of 10
