Default Question about heel-toe braking.

I've read different stuff about it, but what I'm interested in is the timing of the gas-blip. Is it supposed to happen as you let off the clutch (just like during the upshift) or should the engine be revved up during the shift and the foot should be coming off the gas by the time I'm letting off the clutch? I've read articles that go either one way or the other, so I'm not quite sure about it.

What's the perfect sequence of actions?

Right toe on brake
Left foot on clutch
Right heel blip throttle
shift
Left foot off clutch
(repeat for next gear if downshifting more than one gear at a time)
Right toe off brake

Oh btw if you want to see it in action then download some Best Motoring videos. They always have a camera on the drivers' feet.

Yah I wear size 11 4E (or size 12 since most sneakers don't come in widths and I don't wanna be stuck in New Balances all the time) and I get more of the side-to-side motion going on than my actual heel and toe.

I wear size 15/16... impossible to heel-toe cause there is not enough space for me to swing either my foot or leg into posiiton...

Though, it's kinda tricky, but my foot is in fact wide enough to manipulate both pedals at once, with the ball of my foot on the brake and the outside of my foot on the throttle...
