I'm thinking about getting this(HDTV Widescreen). Do you think it's too big?

My work has an Employee Purchase Plan deal with Circuit City every year and I was looking at this. What do you think? Since I'm moving back out and into a new apt/townhouse around Feb/March I thought this would be a nice setup to have. My price is 1289.99$ and will drop lower if it goes on sale before Christmas. It also gets deducted from my paycheck for a year and only $51.85 a check. Give me your opinions.

I don't work at Circuit City. I work at a large cable/communications provider that partners with them every year for this plan. They give us a 9 page listing of all sorts of crap that would could buy and the price breakdowns of each. I can get TV's, Home Theatre/TV Packages, DVD Burners, Cameras, LCD Monitors, PC's, Laptops, etc. ;) Anything $1500 and under they'll deduct from your check 6months or a year. Anything over that amount you just pay the difference out of your own pocket at the time of purchase.

I have this

but like me you still need the HDTV receiver:thumbup:

Thats nice. I don't have that exact one on my list but instead there is a Sony 51" (Part No. KP51WS510) and a Sony 57" (KP57WS510). I'll probaly just go with the Samsung. They've got a deal where I can get the matching base with it for free ($99 normally).

I don't like rear-projection TVs. They're so like, late 80s have-it-in-the-basement chic. But I guess in that price range you could get a 30" 16:9 tube HDTV or a big honkin projection set.

All I've got is a plain ole 27" Sony Wega. :oh:
