BOOM goes the dynamite!
I go back and forth between leaving it open and shutting it. If I have to shit, I close it, every time. If it's just a pee, I usually close it. My toilet is right next to the door, so it feels weird to pee in there with it open.

it's my D in a B
In my house we do a "sort of close." Reason being, the latch doesn't really work and the dog always wants to come in and keep you company while you crap.
