In California it is illegal to smoke in your workplace. Drivers can get ticketed for smoking in the Cab of there truck, but not for smoking in the sleeper. The Cab is your workplace, the sleeper is your home.

If a driver gets pulled over and the cop wants to search your truck. They can search the cab but not the sleeper. They need a warrant to search the sleeper. Because the sleeper is considered your home.

I think the first one is very stupid. The second one....I dunno
