Installing power antenna
I need a whole new power antenna assembly. Has anyone ever installed one in a 3rd gen teg? If so is it difficult. I found a few for sale for like 50 bux and they include the motor, mast and everything else i need. I just want an idea how hard it is to put in.

Why do you need a whole new antenna assembly? Is the antenna stuck? You could just replace the mast (much cheaper $$$). Replacing either one is easy. I finished putting mine back together just today.....I can tell ya whatever you need to know.

I already bought a new mast off of ebay. To make a long story short though, I had a really hard time getting pieces of the old mast out and ended up screwing it all up. So im just gonna drop 50 bux on a whole new assembly and slap it in there.

Well, I can understand that. It took me a full day to get mine back together. I took it apart to get the broken part of the mast out.
Putting the whole assembly in is no big deal. Just remove the back panel in the trunk and the left side panel should just pull out. All you need then is a 10mm socket and an antenna wrench may help. Otherwise, just use a flat tip screwdriver to undo the antenna nut and be very careful not to scratch your paint.
