If you replace the stock radio are you still going to be able to control the climate in your car... short of winding down the windows?

I think i've seen pictures of people mounting a different head in the CD holder.

That's for DX, LX base w/ standard A/C and single disc stereo. Any EX, EX-L, or any V6 model has integrated climate control, radio, and 6-disc changer on the LCD. For that, the only option is to run amps off the speaker-level outputs. You can't replace the head unit on the up-scale Accords, since the climate control and stereo share data and microprocessors. You can run anything separately in the CD holder if you want. But to me that's cheezy. I would never do that for myself, nor would I recomend that to anybody (unless you want to ruin the class of your car). That's sort of like catchup on fillet mignon.

You are not the only one looking my brother. Short of that "cheesy" ass cd-holder radio kit, you are in the same shoes as me: PISSED.
I have an 03 LX I4 and I am regretting getting this car for that one reason. I am an audiophile and the no factory replacement scenario is killing me.

I didnt care about how it looked. I thought by now they would have had a kit for it. I mean, its only been about 9-10 months.
