Default exhaust help

Hey i am getting an exhaust this summer from the money i am making and i need help choosing whcih one. I dont really want to go over $400 becasue my parents will shit themsleves if i do. I was thinking about a magnaflow performance but some people say they are redneckish. Some kid with a 300zx told me to just get a muffler and cut some stuff off but i think i would rather get some power out of it i am not to concerned with the sound. so what do you guys think.

You should try to do a search.

1. You don't get much gain through a full exhaust system.
2. A good system will run you over 400
3. Muffler + 2.25" to 2.5" Piping is a better cheaper way to go, since I know mine squeeze out more horse.
4. High Flow Catalytic converter would do yo some good.
5. Decent Exhaust brands are: Greedy, Apex'I, HKS, etc.
6. Please do a search

Go with what poohboi said. Only thing, if your not going to run some serious power, I saw just stay with the stock cat. You will lose some low-to-mid end power which is good for the stop and go traffic.

buy the greddy evo ... $400 is a pretty damn good price if that includes shipping. Greddy and HKS are the top brands when it comes to catbacks

I am trying to decide between the magnaflow and the gredd. the magnaflow is cheaper and has to mufflers which will look better but everyone says the greddy is better. If i can get that one greddy for 400 i am gonna go with that other than that i will have to go with the magnaflow.
