Default Motor oil

I have a '93 Del Sol S with 61,xxx miles on it. I am coming up on my next oil change, and I was thinking about switching to synthetic motor oil.

Does anyone have any thoughts on this? I have heard that you shouldn't switch if you have more than 60,000 miles and/or a car with 8-10 years on it.

Any help is appreciated. Thanks

Default Ok...

Doesn't honda recommend that we use 5w-10 motor oil though? Why are you using 30?

Also, what type of Mobile-1?

Haha, sorry if these questions don't make sense, I don't know shit about cars.

Different climate affects the needed wieth also. During the summer, I run a heavier oil. Just an old habit. That, and I had an engine with over 190K on it that was burning oil, so I ran straight 40 weight all the time.

Nice to see another Minnesotan make it to the board!
