Ask this in another thread but got no reply. Have the same rusted hat syndrome. Going to pull the rotor off and paint them. Thinking of using some bar-b-que flat black rates at 1600 deg f. Would this work or should i get caliper paint.

What about some nice Brembo blanks and a rear disk set up from an integra. Thrown in some good pads and SS brake lines to help with pedal feel and you would have a nice four disk set up. I also would imagine it would be alot less the the AEM set up. PLus you could get disks for an EX which should be bigger then the ones for the DX. Just a thought

Tryed doing this on my 94 DX. Ex are different calipers than the dx. Larger. Your have to get the ex splines so the right caliper will fit then get the big brake kit. The cheapest i could get splines here local were $150 each, then have the dx hub pulled off the factory spline and pushed on the ex spline. Pain in the ass.

Did what ronin suggested, GSR rears disc, steel lines go in next week, DOT 4 fluid. Very nice pedal feel.
