d15b7 w/z6 head
I have a 94 DX hatch and i am about to purchase a z6 head that i would like to swap on there. Its comming with the cover, distributor, vtec solenoid, and cam gear. What else do i need to complete this swap? Do i have to change the ecu? intake manifold? what headgasket should i use?
Most of all the information i have found is swapping it onto a 4g civic. Can someone point me to some resources for this mini me swap

You deffinitely need the ECU from the Z6 otherwise the VTEC won't work. You don't need anything else as far as I know, but it would be a good idea to get the intake manifold and throttle body for more horsepower. You can also get the tranny for shorter gearing.
Anyone else think of something else he might need?
Oh and you can get a head gasket for a 96-00 Civic EX (D16Y8) cause it's thinner and will bump the compression up a bit. Or you can get aftermarket.

get the p28 ecu (for the z6). It's just a lot less hassle. The chassis is already wired for vtec, so you just need to run a couple wires from the vtec solenoid to the wiring harness. The z6 manifold will flow a lot better, but the throttle bodies are the same diameter. Use the b7 TB and the z6 manifold. Then you don't have to worry about moving the MAP sensor to the tb (where it is located on the z6).
The z6 head gasket has been discontinued and is now the same as the y8. It'll give you SLIGHTLY higher compression. You can also use the b7 yhead gasket if you like. Basically, whatever is cheaper. The difference is MINIMAL at best. Also, the exhaust manifold on the z6 flows a lot better, so if you don't have an aftermarket header yet, use the z6 one, or buy a header.
