thermostat and radiator cap

hi, i have a 98 civic ex, i am just wondering would it be good to replace a spoon or mugen thermostat or radiator cap?

Doesn't hurt, but maybe hurt the wallet. But the cap won't make a difference itself.

The thermostat would be helpful only if you run your car hard (ie.: Racing)
