My low fuel level light came on, stopped and refueled when i started the car there was a vibration in the engine. Shortly upon taking off the VSA and check engine light came on. The car just seemed to lose power and the more gas I gave it the check engine light would blink. When I finally made it home, I noticed that the exhaust fumes had a very strange odor. Could this have been caused by bad fuel? What step should I take to diagnose the problem?

vsa (i think thats traction control) if it is, not related to the performance problem,,,,, the blinking check engine light, that means you are grossly polluting ( that would explain the bad smell)


for the smoke,, depending on what you saw--
white---------coolant
black---------- fuel
gray----------burning oil


you need to get that checked out.... lots of possibilities so i cant say right now.... sorry bro
