Default Window Tint 2003 Accord 4dr

Shop did an excellent job tinting windows in my new Accord. I couldn't find a single blemish until I rolled the drivers window up and down a few times (after allowing tint to dry for 5 days). I began to notice some vertical lines in the tint like something was rubbing so I took the car back in this morning. They had another, identical Accord with the door panels off in the shop. Turns out that most cars have a felt wiper that contacts the window as it goes up and down, but, the Accord uses a rubber strip. This rubs against the tint and causes the lines. Next week they are going to glue on a felt strip which will hopefully eliminate the problem. Don't know if this problem will surface in other models.

It sounds like the same thing that happened to my 6th gen 4dr. The line is so thin and shallow that it does not warrent redoing the window. I just pushed back the fabric at the opening of the door and it seems all better.

I get that on my Accord but I just wipe the marks off the tint and it's fine every so often.

Rocksteady.....the strip they showed me inside the door panel they had apart didn't have any felt on it that I could see. The part that contacted the window was rubber. They seemed pretty sure that this was the cause of the problem (hope they're right).

I just got tint and have a problem...

The little rubber or whatever part on the inside of the car by the window is flipped down... How can I flip this back up? I was able to do it on the front windows because they go all the way down and i could get somthing under it and push the rest up because half of it went up on its own when i put window down but other half didnt, so i used somthign and forced it back up...

Problem is back windows dont go down all the way so this dont work. How can I get the door pannels off so I can fix this? If I dont fix it I am sure it will start to mess my tint up and I dont want this to happen, and I really dont want to force it up like the front windows because now half the rubber on them looks crappy all foldy like but I cant do it on rear anyway cuz window dont go down all the way...

Anyway how can I get the door pannels off? I wana to fix that and change my front speakers anyway..

Thanks...
