HID installation??
Has anyone installed their own HID conversion kit on their accord? I'm looking for someone who's installed HIDs for a 4th gen accord, but any generation will do. I'm really considering getting some and would like to know how difficult it is to install them and if i can do it myself. thanks!!!

Yup they are plug and play if you buy the right kit. all you need to worry about is where to put the HID ballast.

my ballasts (all 4 of them! ) are mounted inside the bumper... I didnt want them taking up space in the engine compartment, plus they're more protected in the bumper.
Get a 9006 specific kit if they are going in your stock headlights... then the bulbs just go in like the stock halogen bulbs, the wirring between the bulb and ballast just plugs in and the wirring from the stock headlights can be used to power the ballasts... some ballasts (philips) have a 9006 style connector already on them, so the stock headlight harness just plugs right into it.

BustedLX - What kind of HID kit do you have, as in 5000K, 6000K, etc, and how much did you pay for it and where can I get it? thanks.
