Default NBP 03 Coupe..When should I start waxing that bish??

I got it about a month and a half ago....pollen season is beginning...I'm thinking I should wait until the pollen stops which will be like another month before I should start waxing it.....What do you think.........?

Yeah, ASAP is the best time. I'd wax her every 3 months or so. Post some pics when you're done

I thought you were supposed to wait a while before waxing once you first buy a brand new car....The paint seems fine and has the water "trickling" effect when its wet but I like my windshield the same way and right now it just kind of sit there...thats why i'm wanting to wax my car...

If you want to preserve that beading effect then do it asap. I wish I had did mine when I got it but I didn't and now it looks Ok to other people but I think I need a new paint job. I used that Finish First Polish stuff and it is pretty good, like what every one else who has used it has raved about. Try that.

You need rain-x on your windshield...not a good idea to put wax on it.

Check out autopia.org for the best detailing information. Based on everything I read there I will be using both synthetic latex "sealant" and wax over it. Check out Klasse all-in-one and Klasse super-glaze.

Wax it as soon as possible, trust me I worked in a detail shop a while and a stickler when it comes to keeping mine clean. I wax twice a year, before winter and after winter. Wax will help keep your car clean, and make it much easier to get stuff off your paint. Use a good wax, don't go for the $3.99 a bottle stuff. I prefer Zymol, it goes on good and come off clean, and has a nice smell. It also leaves a smooth slick finish and fills in most small scratches. Its $13.00 a bottle, but is well worth it. I waxed the paint and rain-x the windshield 2 days after I got mine.

My regimen for my new 03 Coupe is 1.) Klasse All-in-One, 2.) two coats of Klasse Sealant Glaze, and 3.) P21S Pure Carnauba wax. Mmmmm, delicious.
