Default intake manifold q's (itr and skunk2)

What modification needs to be made for an itr intake manifold to fit onto a gsr? Ive heard that the skunk2 intake manifold is very similar to the itr, is there much of a performance difference in the two manifolds?

From what I understand, the Skunk2 is just a copy of the ITR manifold. The ITR guys usually stick with a stock, because the Skunk2 wouldn't justify paying extra $$.

i've heard of cutting the flange off the gsr manifold and welding it onto itr manifold to make it fit. doesnt seem very practical. :dunno:

Why wouldn't you just get the Skunk2 intake manifold.
1. Its already made to fit up to the gsr
2. It's just as good or better then the Type R intake manifold
and 3. Why waste money trying to get the Type R intake manifold to fit up to the gsr??

I have the Skunk2 intake manifold on my gsr and it's definetly worth getting. I noticed a very good high end power gain from it.
