how do you know each of your four corners are the same height with coilovers?

Default how do you know each of your four corners are the same height with coilovers?

hey, im thinkin about getting some GC coilovers for my teg, but this was a question i had in my mind that i was never sure of. how do u know how high each one is? are their markings on it? i have no clue...haha. and also, whats the dea lwith custom spring rates? what would i want? (daily driving and track every once in a while)

I don't know about how to adjust them all on the same height, but I do know that Ground Control CO's are custom made for your car. Buy the coilovers specifically for your year car and they should be perfect.

measure the tire-fender gap with a tape measure. :dunno:

good topic to bring up, I wondered that as well, but it seems to be pretty simple as everyone has pointed out. I guess the best way is to just get them and try it out. Thats usually the best way to learn

you just have to measure on the perch yourself
what i used to do was measure it with a ruler, the put tape on where i should stop

but realize your car is not the same height on every corner, so you have to adjust and readjust to your own liking

also i dont think corner weighting is as important to a daily driven car thats never going to see a track

corner weighting is 300 bucks if that, the end result is you have a more predictable stable car. imo opinion thats what coilovers are for, otherwise just get some springs and shocks.
