Default Getting my new clutch and flywheel...

Since my clutch went (my pressure plate broke somehow) after 140 k miles on it, I've ordered an ACT HDSS with ACT Prolite (8.8 lb) flywheel. I can't wait to feel the difference, especially since I hate the loosey goosey feeling of the Honda clutches. Plus, I'm very curious of the difference in acceleration I'll get from such a lighter flywheel.

Anyways...I've heard, and on ACT's website they say, that you need to break in the clutch before racing it (200-300 miles).
Has anyone had to break their new clutch in? And if so, how long (many miles) did you wait to race it or drive it hard?

im not positive on how long you should break it in for, but if it was me..i'd wait around 750 miles or so before really getting on it. the sooner you drive it hard, the quicker its gonna go out.

oh, and where did you order yours from? i can't find anywhere to order my clutch and flywheel at a decent price
