Default short shifter

Anyone know anything about short shifters? Are the ones on ebay for 15 worth it?

I like the short shifter I have (Dc Sports, although some complain abou it.) Get bushings if you get a short shifter though, it will make it have less play and it will be a little more precise.

I personally would not go with one of the inexpensive ebay shifters unless i heard from a few people that they were of adequate quality.

do you have to get the bushings seperately, or do they come with the shifter? also, who out there has bought the cheap ones on ebay? what are your experiences with them and how much did you pay? i'm contemplating buying one for my teg.

Shift bushings are "sold separately"

I put an ebay short shifter in my 91 civic, I also installed
neuspeed busings while I was under there. I really love it
and have no real problems. It does feel light, and I think if
I really came on to it, I could snap it.

If I were to put one in my teg, I'd probably go neuspeed
shifter and busings. Or maybe just the bushings, I find the
teg shifter isn't that long of a shift.

I hear that they sometimes clank against your aftermarket
exhaust. This is because of the larger diameter exhaust
piping in combination with the exteded shifter section from
pivot point down.

I have the stock exhaust, so I have not experienced this.

I also hear short shifter are bad for your syncro. I don't know
much about that statement though.

I've had the ebay one in for 6mo.
