Default Rims purchased, now the wait...

Well, I went for the 16x7 SSR Competitions with Yokohama AVS ES100's in 205/45/16. Got them from the Tire Rack, they are really good, although I am sure most ppl here know that Including the lug nuts as well as mounting and balancing for free which is also very cool. That way some hick around here doesn't damage them when he mounts them.

Total that will be paid is $3082 CAN, with duty and tax, and all that UPS brokerage bullsh!t. Funny thing is, Volk Gram Lights around here with Toyo T1S's in 17's would have cost me $2900. Worth the upgrade I think.

I got the vibe that 16's are a better option on a teg without a body kit, plus I feel performance is important, as well as ride, so 16's should do nicely. They are 11 lbs, and they look hot.

I'll post pics when I get them, and when I get them on my car.

Thanks to all for the help ppl. I searched this board about 20 times and I can say that I think I made the right choice

The SSR Comps are a way better pick than the Volk Gram lights.

SSR Comps are nice, but are they worth that much?

I just got Toyo Proxes in that size locally mounthed balanced with lugs for $900 CDN Tax in...

I also got some 16" rota Subzeros for $750CDN tax in.

I know Rota's are just copies but...

$1650 vs #3000!?

I also belive the proxes to be better than the ES100s

I was quoted a price or $660 tax in for the ES100s...

Mind you, I've NEVER seen SSR comps locally...

Hope you enjoy your rims and tires...
