98 Acura CL 2.3 Auto: 2nd Gear Slipping?
Dear Friends,
I have a 98 Acura CL 2.3 Automatic. About 1 year ago, I would give it gas and there was a small buck, like the engine was going and the frame would follow. Had a mech check-it and told me it was the engine mounts.
2-3 months ago, that small buck turned into a big buck or slam, between 18-39 MPH [perhaps while it is in 2nd gear]. I also notice that it doesn't act up until the car is warmed up for about 45 minutes. Had the Selenoid (?) replaced, not solved...
Economy is bad, how can you trust anyone when they say it's the tranny? Could it be something else or am I in denial?
Please help if you will...
Thanks,
Petros
